Tuition and Financial Aid
The Village School of Louisville is devoted to equity in all forms. Therefore, tuition is on a sliding scale in the hopes of working with various family budgets and is based around the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) as defined here. Our sliding scale endeavors to take into account all factors that impact a household’s financial situation.
Determination for tuition and sliding scale eligibility for the 2025-2026 school year is a follows:
$10, 750 full tuition for families with income at 351% or higher of the FPL
$10, 250 tuition for families with income between 251% and 350% of the FPL
A variable tuition rate for those whose effective income is at 250% of the FPL or lower (the average financial award for the 24-25 academic year was $4,231.96)
Other discounts:
10% sibling discount for each student after the first
50% tuition discount for full time employees with eligible families
$250 referral credit good towards tuition, clubs, and early/after care for each referral that signs a contract.
Tuition is prorated for students who enroll after the school year has begun

In addition to affordability, VSL tuition includes:
All school supplies
All field trips and campus visitors
All school-day enrichment activities
Fun community events
Healthy Snack Program - fresh fruits and vegetables available throughout the day
The only additional charges are for optional early or afterschool care and clubs.
