Forest School

While forest school is becoming a movement for preschools and kindergartens in America, it is common to find it a class for all grades in Europe. The benefits for children having outside time has long been expounded on by the experts and we are firm believers in fresh air and play time. However, forest school is more than just going outside for some play time. It takes learning outdoors into nature where students can hike trails, do obstacle courses, learn survival skills (or just camping ones), care for and study animals, plants and the world around them and do those messy crafts we don’t want indoors. Children go out in all weather as long as it is safe to do so.
